By doing so, we control thousands of products whose colors, textures, light-reflective qualities, density, and general material qualities mimic their real-world counterparts in photo-realistic detail. These virtual products are viewable from multiple angles and distances, both independently and on scale models, and are highly customizable. The secret to combining CGI with still life lays on mimicking the exact same specifications from the live shot in to a 3D environment. In addition, we create a HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging) file from a “chrome ball” that we place in the live set during the “shoot”, making sure that the lighting conditions are exactly the same in “both worlds”.
